A seasons banker and chartered accountant, Alhaji Yussuf is a graduate of the university of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also holds a M. Sc. (Finance) degree from the University of Lagos.

He is a retired Executive director, Intercontinental bank plc, Lagos and Managing Director, Modesty properties limited, Lagos.
